I like hats

I like hats. I wear them when I can, like on Easter Sunday. But most of the time people in my area don't get ladies wearing hats. Unless it's a cowgirl hat which isn't exactly high fashion even in my little burg.

No, I'm not trying to get attention when I wear a hat. I'm trying to feel good. I like the little spiritual lift I get when I wear a hat. Even a red hat.

When a strong wind blows, I have two choices. I can hold my hat in place, or I can lose my hat.

When I wear a hat to the movies, I have two choices. I can take my hat off so I don't annoy the people behind me, or I can behave like an ass and get thrown out.

When I wear a hat into someone else's area of authorization, I have two choices. I can take my hat off when they tell me to, or I can behave like an ass and get thrown out.

I might even be arrested if I'm fool enough to argue with the police.

If I go to an amusement park and want to hop on a ride, I want to be damn freakin' sure everything has been done and IS being done to make sure I survive the next four minutes. (Peeing myself when the coaster drops is, of course, my own problem.)

As an American I know and accept this. Anyone living on American soil should know and accept this. This is like, you know folks, COMMON SENSE. No one wants to go to God via The Rebel Yell.

So why is it is news when people at an amusement park refused to comply with the rules? Why is it news when the police were summoned to do their jobs?

Oh, yeah. The people who exhibited the inordinate lack of COMMON SENSE happen to belong to a religious faction that demands the respect of the American people without showing respect for the rules of American soil.

Yeah, I get it. I really do.

Talk about wanting attention and showing yer ass.

Headline news: Something wrong with country's politics?

The Associated Press headline caught my eye:

Obama: Something is wrong with country's politics

Really? Ya think?

Words fail me. Obama is the problem with our country's politics.

He says it, but he doesn't see he's the problem.

And as he's proven time after time after time, like everything else, it's all about him and not about the people, especially the middle middle class.

Wild Bill for America

A friend sent me this link for Secret Service Secrets:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5INFAuM1xI&feature=youtu.be

Listen to his voice very carefully. Watch his eyes. If he's lying, he's pretty damn good a it.

I think it's time to watch more of this guy's videos just to see what he has to say.

So when is life fair?

Disgusted and dismayed. And don't forget pissed off. Yep. That's me. I finally (thank God!) have the mortgage paid and can start investing that money. And what happens? The stock market tanks.

I'm sure I'm not alone in my anger. I've worked all my life and I see it all slipping away. Our so-called president (who I don't think deserves the office) has systematically taken steps to end my way of life and the future I've worked so hard to attain.

I'm angered to the point of tears.

I'm angered to the point I understand why people snap. It's frightening to me.

We're in deep trouble here, America. The middle class built this country, and we are being systmatically destroyed.

Don't cast blame on the people of the past. Those decisions can't be changed. The people making the decisions in the present are responsible for the future.

I pray they get it right.

Ya think?

Finally - Japan ranked its nuclear crisis at the Fukushima plant at the highest possible severity on an international scale — the same level as the 1986 Chernobyl disaster — even as it insisted Tuesday that radiation leaks are declining at its tsunami-crippled nuclear plant.  Declining? YA THINK?

The idiot in the White House thinks tax increases might be necessary to dig the United States out of debt. YA THINK?

There's an FBI memo that seems to state the truth really is out there, and three space craft did land in Roswell. YA THINK?

And one final YA THINK for today from The Old Jarhead, who snagged it from the Patriot Post, I offer this:

Quote from The Patriot Post www.patriotpost.us/subscribe/
"You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot help small men by tearing down big men. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot lift the wage-earner by pulling down the wage-payer. You cannot help the poor man by destroying the rich. You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than your income. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred. You cannot establish security on borrowed money. You cannot build character and courage by taking away men's initiative and independence. You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves." --Presbyterian clergyman William Boetcker (1873-1962)

Nine trillion dollars? How much is that?

Sometimes I run across some really scary things. The video found on this page is one of them. Just roll over the following line and the link will display. Scroll down to the video.

Who is keeping track of things in our government? Apparently no one.
