At the polls

Well, I voted. A great privilege, and a great responsibility, voting.

Now I need to come clean. One of the candidates I probably would have voted for met me on the parking lot of the local school (where I vote), and proceeded to attempt to engage me in conversation.

I still work Tuesdays and Thursdays. I'd worked all day. I'd been to the grocery, gone to a friend's house to check on her dogs because she was working at the poll, and I had a full evening of cooking, washing dishes, and laundry ahead of me before I could disappear into a book. And this IDIOT wanted to chat.

I didn't vote for him. He simply doesn't understand the working woman.
